Pictured here is our Lemony Asparagus Bruschetta.  For this appetizer, we cook the asparagus “al dente” then toss with a classic marinade of garlic, olive oil and lemon juice.  We then put a ‘shmear’ of mascarpone cheese on toasted slices of <a href="http://lovejoybakers.com" target="_blank">Lovejoy Bakers</a>’ ciabatta and place the bite-sized spears on top.  With a garnish of shredded Parmesan, this bruschetta is a perfect start to your meal.  Try it with a chilled glass of Riff Pinot Grigio, easy to drink with pear and citrus notes.  With luck, you can find a sunny spot on the patio to enjoy the weather and your meal!
